An 18th Century oak longcase clock by J. Lawson of Bradford, the 31cm brass dial with pierced spandrels, silvered chapter ring, engraved centre with calendar aperture and moonphase dial, to the eight day two train movement now striking on a gong (gong fixed to backboard), contained in case with mahogany banding, fluted pillars to hood, shaped trunk door and fluted quartered columns, 203cm high, sold with winding handle

Note: John Lawson recorded working in Keighley, Bradford & Bingley c.1740-1789, including some complicated moon dial movements
