Our inaugural auction at Hendre Hall on 29th August was a great success, with a varied mix of lots ranging from 19th Century Welsh carved slate candlesticks to vintage tailors dummies all finding keen new homes!
The top selling lot of the day was a 19th Century Camphor wood chest, selling to a buyer on the internet for £380, with a pair of 19th Century Chinese vases not far behind at £250.
A good number of local buyers came along to the sale, together with regular PFK and other buyers online.
The auction at Hendre Hall marks PFK’s aspirations to become the leading auction business in the North West, with a series of on-site auctions planned across the region to supplement our calendar of auctions held in our Penrith saleroom.
The next sale at Hendre Hall will be towards the end of the year, date to be confirmed!
